The PPP arrangement will involve PAS appointing a private partner to invest in rehabilitation works at the jetty anddeveloping passenger facilities. The private partner will be responsible for attracting cruise ships to the port throughinbound tourism offerings to cruise ship passengers. PAS and RGC will facilitate building linkages by forming a LocalTourism Promotion Council that will help bring local players and the private partner on a common platform to collaborateand comprehensively develop tourism offerings.
