Developing a Chhlong Tourism Port aims to boost tourism and attract population growth in the northeast, as well as link to other potential tourism projects in the region. This project will also be linked to the Funan Techo Canal project, located on the upper Mekong River, connecting waterways from Kampong Cham to Kratie and the northeastern region. This project will increase additional tourism potential for Kratie province, aiming to create new job opportunities for people in the region and attract new developments that can boost Cambodia's economic development, especially the entire northeastern region.
