Developing a Multi-Purpose Port

Developing a Multi-Purpose Port aims to connect the four provinces in the northeastern region through water transport with other ports and commercial areas of Cambodia, which will play an important role in the collection and storage of goods and agricultural and agro-industrial products in the northeastern region. Developing a Multi-Purpose Port can also reduce freight costs, support the livelihood of people in Kratie province, and promote the flow of agricultural raw materials from three other provinces in the northeast to Kratie province, transforming the province into an agricultural product collection area, agricultural product processing area, and agro-industrial park for the northeast.
