The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) will hold a Second Dissemination Workshop on “Law on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Public-Private Partnerships Projects”, which will be held on April 25th, 2023, at 08:30 am, at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra Hotel to raise the awareness of the Law on PPP and SOP for PPP projects to the relevant ministries and institutions of the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, development partners, financial institutions, consulting firms, law firms, insurance companies and other representatives of the private sector.
This workshop will be presided over by His Excellency Dr. Phan Phalla, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, representing His Excellency Akka Pundit Sapheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance.
The “Law on PPP” was approved under the Royal Kram No. NS/RKM/1121/018 dated November 18th, 2021, and the “SOP for PPP projects”was subsequently promulgated under the Sub-decree No. 174 ANKr/BK dated on August 31st, 2022, by the Royal Government of Cambodia for comprehensive and efficient preparation, implementation, and management of the PPP Projects in Cambodia.
Hence, all the public and journalists are kindly informed and to attend the second dissemination workshop on “Law on Public-Private Partnerships and Standard Operating Procedures for Public-Private Partnerships Projects” on the above-mentioned date and venue.
