The Ministry of Economy and Finance in cooperation the government of Australia in the preparation and implementation workshop on “Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Project Management in Cambodia”for Block 3under Capacity Building Program after successful execution of the training workshop for Block 1 on 3-6 October 2023 and Block 2 on 12-15 December 2023. The Capacity Building Plan Block 3 preparation with the objective of expanding the scope of the collaboration and further contribute significantly to the development of capacity building in Cambodia. This capacity building workshop will bedivided into 2 courses, for “Strategic Leaders” which will be held half-day on February 28th, 2024 at the Sofitel Phnom Penh PhokeethraHotel; and for “Project Managers Level”, 2 days training workshop from the February 29th to March 1st, 2024 at the Sofitel Phnom Penh PhokeethraHotel.
The workshop will be attended by representatives from relevant line ministries involved in the preparation and development of PPP Projects, as well as representatives of the Australian Embassy in Cambodia, and the P4I team; to build capacity, promote, and share experiences in order to gain a better comprehension of the PPP Project development cycle toward best international practices, in addition to compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures for PPP Projects, (SOPs for PPP Projects), as well as the existing PPP framework and mechanism to ensure a successful and effective implementation of PPP Projects for the key players directly involved in project implementation.
This workshop will be presided over by His Excellency Meas Soksensan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Economy and Finance, on behalf of His Excellency Akka Pundit Sopheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance.
